New generation of a legend

At the end of October GM launched its new Camaro nationally, a legend in the car industry. This is the sixth generation of the icon, what asked for a special 50 years edition, the Camaro Fifty.

On the 26th of October over 50 journalists went to the Velo Città Racetrack, in Mogi Guaçu, for the press launch and also an amazing comparative test drive between the 2016 and 2017 versions. The presentation had the presence of Chevrolet’s president, Carlos Zarlenga, VP, Marcos Munhoz, Marketing director, Hermann Mahnke among other executives from areas as product, engineering and design.

And on the 29th of October the launch was for car dealers and clients, with about 250 guests. For the big car reveal we transformed the racetrack boxes with a 30 meters wide screen that told the history of the Camaro and all its power, followed by the new generation’s triumphant entry. The well-known couple Flávia Alessandra and Otaviano Costa welcomed the guest. And we also had the Stock Car pilots Átila Abrey and Ricardo Maurício.

We created three content areas: The Content and Design Space was a collector’s garage with three classic models, with the presence of the executives from the design area. At the racetrack’s control tower was the Performance and Engineering Space, with the Product Marketing Team and visual of the track. The last step was the much anticipated test drive, that happened at the racetrack with the Coupé 2017, Convertible 2017 and Camaro Fifty versions. There, we had the Camaro Café, with special coffees named after the car’s features.

Being a part of this huge launch was one the highlights of our year, and we are very proud of this partnership with Chevrolet. Let there be many more projects together!
